SHELF by BRYVO
Stock counts that actually finish
Hand every member of staff a phone and a login. Count blind, apply the result, and get a report that tells you what it cost.
Inside SHELF
Every screen you'll actually use
Five screens, and that's the whole app. Nothing buried three menus deep.
Counting
Blind by default
Show someone the number the system expects and they'll drift towards it. It's not dishonesty, it's human.
So SHELF hides the expected figure while counting. Your counter writes down what's actually on the shelf. Reveal the expected number any time you want it — but the first pass is honest.
The last count submitted is the one that becomes stock, and every earlier figure stays on the record with the name of whoever entered it.
What's in it
Everything, no tiers
There's one plan. It has all of this in it.
Barcode scanning
Front or rear camera, no hardware to buy. Scan straight into a count, or search by name.
Staff logins and permissions
Each person gets an email and a PIN. You choose who can edit products, adjust stock, finish counts or see reports.
Full movement history
Every change in stock carries a reason — sale, delivery, damage, correction — so nothing is unexplained.
Ten reports
Shrinkage, valuation, reorder, expiry, dead stock, counter accuracy and more. All export to Excel.
Expiry tracking
Flag what's going out of date before it does, with a report that sorts by how urgent it is.
Damage evidence
Attach photos to damaged stock. Optional to require them, useful for supplier claims.

SHELF questions
The practical stuff
Depends on your catalogue, but the honest answer is: far less than paper. A few hundred lines with two people counting is usually well under an hour, and the discrepancy report is ready the moment you finish.
The most recent figure submitted becomes stock. The earlier one stays visible on that line, with the name of whoever entered it — so if a number changes, you can see exactly who changed it and when.
Yes — suspend them. They lose access immediately but every count they've done stays in your reports. Removing them entirely takes their name off past counts, which is usually not what you want.
Not yet. SHELF tells you plainly when the connection drops rather than pretending a count saved when it didn't. Proper offline counting is on the list.
Sales import as a CSV today — export from your till, import to SHELF, and stock comes down as sales rather than as loss. Direct integrations are planned.
Every stock change carries a reason. Sales, deliveries and returns are normal trading and never appear in your loss figures. Only count corrections, damage and write-offs count as shrinkage — so a good month of trading never looks like theft.
